Maryna Dorovska: dynamics of annual growth in the market of thermal insulators is 40—45%

The Director of “thermal insulation” direction of TPK Company Maryna Dorovska considers that the dynamics of annual growth in the market of thermal insulators will not change in the next four years and will constitute 40—45%. It was announced on Tuesday, the 7th of March, by the public relations department of TPK Company.

“The market of thermal insulators is dynamically developing: the annual growth is 40—45%,—stated Maryna Dorovska – It seems that the dynamics will remain the same for the next four years.”

She believes that it is stipulated by several factors: “On the one hand, the construction sphere is rapidly developing which leads to the increase in thermal insulators consumption,—notes Maryna Dorovska. – On the other hand, the issues of power supply are becoming more and more topical, which also stimulates interest in thermal insulation materials.”

But with this positive dynamics of the market as a whole, according to Maryna Dorovska, the segments of foreign and domestic thermal insulators develop differently.

“The consumption rates of foreign mineral wool insulators grow annually by 35—40%, foam plastic – by 50—55%,—explained Maryna Dorovska. – Foam plastic have lately become rather competitive, its rate of consumption is growing in the segment of ‘wet’ facades. It is quite inexpensive, does not absorb water and is easily mounted.”

As to domestic insulation materials, the dynamic of growth in this segment is negative. Maryna Dorovska supposes that the products do not meet the requirements of standards because they are manufactured on the outdated equipment.

“If we attract the investments and re-equip the factories, they will definitely be able to manufacture competitive production,—Maryna Dorovska is sure. – Moreover, there is a chance to occupy a certain niche in the segment of thermal insulation, as the foreign producers are working to their capacity and the demand is growing.”

Maryna Dorovska believes that “in order to avoid the shortage of materials, it is necessary to open at least several factories producing thermal insulators in.”
